The team had a training day yesterday as Rebecca from Business Pilot joined us for our induction session. According to the Business Pilot website, “Business Pilot is a cloud-based fitting company or installation company ERP / CRM system providing tools to manage your entire business with the focus on driving profits whilst reducing hassle”.
In short Business Pilot is a new CRM site which has been built mainly for businesses that are based in the construction and installation industries.
Customer Status
One key thing Rebecca taught us was the key statuses in the customer journey from the initial point of contact (Enquiry) right through to a contract being created. Business Pilot has 4 main categories in the customer journey before a contract is signed these consist of:
Contacts
Leads
Contracts
Installation Calendar
Another feature of Business Pilot that we were taught about was the Installation Calendar, the calendar allows you to plan installations weeks in advance. Another aspect of the installation calendar we learnt about was the ability to book a provisional installation start date which can be quickly edited or changed if the provisional date doesn’t work.
Help Centre
Rebecca also made us aware that if we became stuck or needed any more assistance that there were help videos as well as a live chat support function on the platform.
Conclusion
Overall we were extremely impressed with the training provided at the Business Pilot Training Day and we would like to thank Rebecca for her time yesterday, the training was insightful but also engaging. We look forward to using Business Pilot in our everyday working lives.
