Schueco ASE 67 PD – The latest in Panoramic minimal sliding solutions

The Schueco ASE 67 sliding door is a solid contender in the now sought after market for thin framed sliding doors.

For those who have ventured into the world of “Fine-Lined” sliding doors, it will be common knowledge that there are solutions available at opposite ends of the spectrum. Generally most solutions are either at the top of the scale and phenomenally expensive, or down at the lower end with less inherit strength and more after sales issues.

With the Shueco ASE 67 you have best of both worlds. A strong, industry renowned brand with robust, technically apt solutions. All with the benefit of a competitive edge on pricing.

Due to the design of the track mounted bearing rollers, sliding panels up to 3200mm wide and 3000mm high operate effortlessly..

A unique added benefit of the system is its ability to be built into the lightest facade system on the market (The FWS 35 PD) and for continuous fixed screens with only 35mm profiles to be made. Most alternative systems require a vertical structural break or column where the outer frame jamb has to abut adjacent glazing.

For larger panel sizes; motorised versions, or PASSIVE levels, we advise the ASE 77 PD. See separate product section for ASE 77 PD.

When using the ASE 67 PD into new buildings, it is common to select the 90mm outer frame profile and to design the structure to conceal the outer frames entirely, resulting in floor to ceiling glass (the outer frame is cloaked by the structure).

If you working on a refurbishment project, the 57mm outer frame is often used to prevent the outer frame appearing too heavy. With this option, the visible sightline is reduced to a slim 31mm, which is then matched with the 31mm interlocker. This helps achieve the minimal look but without the heavier frame detracting attention from the concept of minimal framing.

Flush, ‘lifetime homes compliant’ thresholds are standard when detailed into the structure

    What our customers think

Tony Harrison RIBA – Director Design 4 architecture

“Our house has been transformed thanks to Vinco!”

The whole experience with Vinco Windows group, from the initial site meeting and competitive quote, through to the efficient and prompt delivery and fitting of the window and door package was one of the smoothest we have ever encountered.
We will certainly be using them again and I would highly recommend this company for the supply and fitting of high quality doors and windows.

    “A* from start to finish”

We were very happy with Matt and Vinco from the outset of the process through to fitting – our new windows look fab!!
We have fitted contemporary black Alu-clad windows to a two-hundred year old barn, so getting the mix right of old and new was essential, as was measuring and fitting plumb, square windows to historical, non-plumb window openings! Matt was instrumental in helping us to make sure we have the right windows for our needs and kept us updated throughout the manufacturing process. The fitters were extremely efficient and professional – we will definitely be talking to Vinco when we do our next conversion.
