Scandinavian designed windows and doors are renowned in the industry for their logical and functional design that continues to be the best for longevity. At the heart of this is the engineered timber, but more fundamentally the “Drained and ventilated” glazing method. This is where the bottom profiles of the frame and sash are chamfered to allow continual drainage of water away from the timber to prevent premature rot and fungal attack. The glass is secured externally, preventing any moisture or humidity being trapped in the glazing rebate, thus enhancing the lifespan of the product. The aluminium external covering is held on by raised clips to create a breathable space and to allow water to drain under and away.

As with much of Scandinavian design, profiles are simple and neat. However, decorative “sculptured profiles” can also be offered within the standard range.

All products are made with engineered timber profiles for maximum stability and all timber is responsibly sourced from FSC certified sources. We have also patented our own sash and frame connections to extend the expected life span and stability of the timber frame connections at the corners.

The standard frame depth (Inside to outside) is 115mm however we can make the system with depths from 70mm – 300mm.

    What our customers think

Tony Harrison RIBA – Director Design 4 architecture

“Our house has been transformed thanks to Vinco!”

The whole experience with Vinco Windows group, from the initial site meeting and competitive quote, through to the efficient and prompt delivery and fitting of the window and door package was one of the smoothest we have ever encountered.
We will certainly be using them again and I would highly recommend this company for the supply and fitting of high quality doors and windows.

    “A* from start to finish”

We were very happy with Matt and Vinco from the outset of the process through to fitting – our new windows look fab!!
We have fitted contemporary black Alu-clad windows to a two-hundred year old barn, so getting the mix right of old and new was essential, as was measuring and fitting plumb, square windows to historical, non-plumb window openings! Matt was instrumental in helping us to make sure we have the right windows for our needs and kept us updated throughout the manufacturing process. The fitters were extremely efficient and professional – we will definitely be talking to Vinco when we do our next conversion.
